Take 100 g of pigeon peas and one tablespoon of chana dal. Mix both dals and keep soaked in water for 30 minutes. Add drumsticks, bottle gourd, pumpkin and boil. Add BAPS Amrut Chilli powder and salt according to taste. Take 50 g of oil/ ghee in a separate pan, add mustard seeds and tej patta and allow to crackle. Temper the boiled dal mixture with the same. Add tamarind paste as per taste and cook. Now add 2 spoons of BAPS Amrut Sambhar Masala and cook further for 15 minutes. Cover with lid and leave for 5 minutes. Serve delicious hot sambhar with Idli, Dosa, Meduvada, Uttapam, etc.
